Staying close by and read the good Yelp reviews. Got the avocado, egg, and cheese on sourdough roll with garlic sauce. Also the bacon, tomato, cream cheese with avocado on a bagel. Wow! Both were huge and delicious, especially the 2nd one. Pumpkin spice white mocha was yummy as well. Ordered online and was ready in 10 minutes. Planning on returning tomorrow.

Just a good-quality sandwich. Their special with pastrami, gouda, and avocado is a delicious and unique combination. In addition to sandwiches, they have a lot of sides and snack options. There's a city bike stop right at the end of the block. The staff has always been friendly and welcoming every time I've gone.

Okay, the last time I was at Yonkers, the customer service left me a bit perturbed, enough so that I didn't think I'd return. Ayman, the owner, reached out to me with an apology and an offer to buy me lunch. What a wonderful and generous gesture! So, today, I stopped by to take him up on his offer. It was another really hot day (not too many of these in SF, especially not in the Outer Sunset). Before the fiasco with the smoothie, I used to love the Firehouse Special, so that's what I ordered. The sandwich, as always, was huge; so big that I could only eat half of it in one sitting. It was chock full of roast beef and I asked for everything with it except the onions, so it was so big around that I couldn't fit it in my mouth! I had to nibble part of it until my mouth would go around it and I could take a real bite. It was just as I remember it... fantastic! There was a ton of meat, lots of shredded lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and the usual mustard and mayo. Wow, it was the kind of yummy that makes my jaw do a funny thing, which only happens when my tastebuds have been tingled. And, to add the garlic sauce to the sandwich was the cherry on top! Ayman also made me a strawberry smoothie, just right for the unusually hot weather. This was to make up for the smoothie I couldn't get the last time I was here. It, too, was amazing; ice cold, fruity, and delicious! Sorry, I forgot to take pictures of the smoothie and the whole sandwich, but I got the other half of the sandwich. I was so hungry and the thought of it was so overwhelming that I ate the first half and drank the smoothie quickly. Believe me, it was really delicious! I'm so glad Ayman reached out to me. Now I feel I can go to Yonkers whenever I have a hankering for a delicous sandwich or a smoothie. It's so nice to know he's in tune with his customers and listens when there's a problem with the operation of his business. I really appreciate that. To boot, he's a really nice guy!!

Stumbled across this unassuming cafe when the line at Devil's Teeth was too long. Nothing mindblowing but had a nice turkey sandwich on Dutch crunch that did the job. The menu is also incredibly expansive (3 different turkey options!), so there should be something for everyone. Wouldn't consider it a destination shop, but a good, affordable option if you're looking for a quick bite in the neighborhood.

This is a neighborhood GEM. From the breakfast sandwiches, to their deli sandwiches, you can't go wrong. My go to is the Yonkers special on Dutch crunch. They use really good quality deli meat from Boar's head, it makes all the difference. It can get pretty busy during the morning/breakfast and lunchtime hours. I usually call ahead and give them a few mins beyond what they tell me. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. They have a few tables inside and 2 tables outside. I love picking up my sandwich and heading over to eat it at Ocean Beach.

It was a cold and rainy Saturday. We had sandwiches on our minds... Yonkers came up as an option on Yelp and we gave it shot. I sometimes feel overwhelmed looking at sandwich menus, there's so many names, so many options, do i pick a preconfigured one or do i build my own? so many sandwiches are similar with only one thing different, #6 looks the same as #7 and you start looking side to side to compare the ingredients and find the difference, "oh #7 has ham instead of salami" etc etc. I was on the brink of feeling this way at Yonkers but not completely. After i put on my big boy pants and finally picked something, everything was great. Ended up getting the sunset (pastrami and chicken salad) sandwich which ran about $13. A tip for my future self would be to call and order ahead. Lots of people coming in and out to pick up their orders while we waited for ours.

Stopped in here to get a sandwich. There are so many choices! They use Boarshead deli meats and cheeses. Nice cafe with coffee drinks and refrigerated beverages like soda, seltzer flavored water, etc. I went with the Classic Reuben: choice between Pastrami or Corned Beef. Swiss Cheese, Sauerkraut, & Thousand Island Dressing on your choice of bread. Rye was recommended. And apparently, he chose the Corned Beef for me. Either meat was fine with me. The sandwich was neatly wrapped in butcher paper and delivered to my table. The anticipation of that first bite was already making my mouth water. But I restrained myself enough to snap a quick picture before digging in. Wow, wow, that first bite was so delicious! I could tell this was going to be a very good sandwich, which it was to the last bite! Not overly drenched with thousand island dressing, but enough to let the meat and the sauerkraut shine through. It's a simple but well crafted sandwich.

I've been craving breakfast bagel for so long and decided to stop by here since it's in my neighborhood! I've always gotten breakfast sandwich from across the store, which is devil's teeth, but decided to give this one a try and it did not disappoint!! I got the Murphy bagel and man, it was loaded with eggs and hams to the point that it was spilling out to the side! It was so delicious and I wanted a second after I was done! It's nice to grab a quick bite and just walk around the beach with a cup of coffee, it's such a sf vibe! I would definitely come back again for the breakfast bagels!! Seatings are quite limited inside (probably like 2 tables only) so it's more like a grab and go kind of place. Service was really quick too!

I went here on a Sunday around 2:30pm and there was no wait. I was craving a sandwich which was why I went here. We got the Golden Gate and also the Lox Sandwich. I loved how meaty and simple my Golden Gate sandwich was. I'd recommend this place! Yonker's Cafe is located a few blocks away from a beach and it's a great place to grab a quick meal! They sell a bunch of stuffed sandwiches, such as beef, pork, chicken, turkey, and fish and veggie sandwiches too!
